I’ve been a little busy with the part-time job and doing work on my server infrastructure (the web site is running on a new server now), so I haven’t gotten out on any day rides lately. And I canceled a big ride to Kentucky for the eclipse (driving instead) because of weather. I have ridden back and forth to Lowell a bunch of times, visiting a friend who’s been exiled there, which is a nice half-hour ride each way, but that’s about it.
But I do have one more trip in the works for this year: a weekend, riding up to Ludington and back. I’ve reserved a tent site at the state park for October 14, so I’ll ride up Saturday morning, and return home Sunday afternoon. That’ll give me about a day at the park.
I normally take the lakeshore route to Ludington, but for this ride, I’ll take an inland route through the Huron-Manistee National Forests, to enjoy the autumn color.
